Wow what a few months, it's been a busy summer. Josh's mom Sherry is doing great! The doctors can not find a trace of the cancer and she has just finished her regular chemo treatments. They want her to do one treatment a month for the next year just to be safe but the prognosis is looking really great! We also found out Josh's grandpa has lung cancer. He has had two surgeries and is now doing really well. Thank the lord for both good outcomes!
We also found out this summer that we are expecting a little boy in December! We are very excited even though it hasn't been the perfect pregnancy. I am on bed rest now for the next few months but the baby is doing great and we are so thankful for all of the wonderful support from all our family and friends. We couldn't have done this without them.
We just had our 4D ultrasound last week. It was really neat to see even though he would not cooperate with us. He is already so low and head down so it was hard to get good pictures. We did get a few that are pretty good. I think he looks like Josh:) Josh thinks I'm crazy and can't figure out how I can see that. Regardless he is one cute little boy!! We have named him Brayden Andrew. Josh picked out the first name and Andrew is after Josh's dad and my brother. He is going to be a very spoiled little boy! His grandma's are already crazy about him and about buying things for him:) He has a closet full of clothes and his little nursery is all done! We can't wait for him:)

Crazy Month
Wow has this been a crazy month! Josh’s mom (Sherry) found out that she has ovarian cancer and then surgery to remove it and serious complications that followed. We obviously wanted to be with her during all this so in the past month we have been in KY for about two and a half weeks. I know how upsetting all this is for Josh but he is holding up really well, he is such an amazing man, husband and son! So for now Sherry is doing well and recuperating at home with an appointment to talk about her chemo coming up soon. We continue to pray for a full recovery and remission of the cancer and have faith that it is all in Gods hands.
As if that wasn’t enough:) We also discovered I have a little, but not life threatening, problem with my ovaries called PCOS:( So we are working threw that and hoping that it is taken care of soon. I feel like we have spent the last month with a doctor or in the hospital, I wonder if they have discounts for frequent visitors? LOL. We are lucky to have wonderful family and friends to support us threw all this, we couldn’t do it with out each and every one of them, but know that God is ultimately the source of our strength. March is here finally and we are really looking forward to spring. It’s been a really cold winter in Alabama with lots of snow. I am ready for my flowers to come up and to be able to go hiking again!! We hope that a new mouth will be a less stressful one and look forward to the warmer weather:)

A New Year 2010
Well Christmas went as well as Thanksgiving; we had a really good time. My mom came down the week before and then Josh's family came down for about a week. I had to work a lot but I think everyone had a good time. Since then we celebrated our 1 year anniversary. It's amazing how fast this year has flown by!! I am such a lucky woman to have the amazing husband that I do! I also am only working PRN at Tut Fann now. I got tired of being at work on the weekends, holidays and missing church all the time. So I put my two weeks in and I am only working when I schedule my self to work:)
We have also torn up the carpet in the living room and hallway and then we put down laminate. It is dark and looks so good. I love it! Now that I'm home more I have more time to keep the house looking better. Who would have ever thought I was going to want to be a house wife and like it!?! Crazy thing, growing up:)
Right after Christmas mom left for Alaska for a travel nurse assignment. She really likes it I think. She sounds like she is having fun and she has extended her contract for another 6 weeks so she must. She will be back the 1st week of May, just in time for her birthday. I hope we get the chance to visit her while she is up there, but we will just have to wait and see how things go:
We are leaving this afternoon to go to Monterey to see Grannie, Drew and Jamie, Leann and John and some other friends. We haven't been there in a while so I'm excited. I still have Leanns Christmas present to giver her. I have lots to do to get ready to go. Dog baths, laundry, dishes, take out the trash and pack! Busy busy!!
